The ACEL TechnoForum held three technical seminars for Civil Engineers from April 4 and 6, 2024 at the
SMX Convention Center, Clark Pampanga as part of the recently concluded PhilConstruct Luzon 2024.

Starting the first ACEL TechnoForum Seminar is Fundamentals of Rigging by Mr. Clemente Rey Dorosan,
product trainer of Crosby Group (and in partnership with Benedicto Steel Group) where he discussed the
basic principles, application, and importance of Rigging, Slings, and Hardware.
In addition to that Dorosan also shared his extensive knowledge that he gained from his experience in
the lifting and rigging sector, making every attendee enjoy this one-day learning session.
And to complete the list, Engr. Gregory Servito of RMD Kwikform Phils., Inc. and Mr. Paul Nikko Sayson
facilitated the second ACEL TechnoForum Seminars namely Formworks’ Reliability Cost – Efficiency &
Safety (FoRCES), and Essentials of Supervisory Leadership respectively.
Engr. Servito discussed the basic principles of formwork and provided insights on conducting a proper
formwork calculation, while Mr. Sayson shared tips and advice during the discussion to ensure that all
attendees understood the correct approach for improving supervisory style.
Overall, the ACEL TechnoForum Seminar was well received by all attendees. Between 20 to 60 seminar
participants attended each learning session to expand their knowledge about the most recent trends
and techniques that the speakers would discuss in light of their subject-matter expertise.
