In line with efforts to further strengthen the cooperation between industry and government, the Association of Carriers and Equipment Lessors (ACEL) recently donated copies of the ACEL Equipment Guidebook to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
Aimed specifically to provide DPWH’s provincial offices with an authoritative reference regarding equipment rental rates, the donation was formally turned over to the department last May 3, 2018, serving as one of the highlights of the Bureau of Equipment-Equipment Management Division (BOE-EMD) Coordination Meeting. The two-day coordination meeting was held at the DPWH Region X Office on Engineer’s Hill, Bulua, Cagayan de Oro City.
The donation was a project of ACEL’s Committee on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Committee on Rental Rates Project. Representing the Association at the turnover ceremony were Eduardo P. Trinidad, ACEL treasurer and chairman of the Committee on CSR, and Abigail S. Mancilla, ACEL corporate secretary.
