PASAY CITY, PHILIPPINES, November 13, 2025—Engineers and architects gathered to attend a wide variety of topics at the ACEL TechnoForum Seminar, organized by the Association of Carriers and Equipment Lessors (ACEL), Inc., and in partnership with the Construction Manpower Development Foundation (CMDF).
On the first day of the ACEL TechnoForum Seminar, the highlighted topics were Extensive Rigging and The Economics of Choosing Tires for the Right Operation. Several engineers, eager to improve their skills and knowledge, gathered to attend the initial series of seminars.
To kickstart the sessions, ACEL Chairman of the Committee on PhilConstruct, Mr. Arlan P. Vergara, delivered his welcoming remarks to the attendees, expressing gratitude for everyone’s ongoing support of the association’s manpower development programs.
The seminar facilitators, Mr. Clemente Rey Dorosan and Mr. Jobert S. Inoc, welcomed their attendees, discussed their respective course outlines, and provided an overview of what participants could expect to learn by the end of the session.
By noon, The Economics of Choosing Tires for the Right Operation Seminar, led by Mr. Jobert S. Inoc, concluded its half-day session, where attendees had the opportunity to understand and evaluate the best tire design, lifespan, and operational fit for each job site.
Later that day, the Extensive Rigging Seminar led by Mr. Clemente Rey Dorosan, a one-day learning session, also concluded. The seminar had 20 attendees who acquired the technical knowledge to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant lifting operations.
The next day, the second batch of the ACEL TechnoForum Seminars started as different engineers, architects, and other key personnel arrived early for registration. The excitement was noticeable as participants looked forward to a day full of both theoretical and practical learning.
As usual, the seminars started with welcoming remarks from ACEL Past President Mr. Lito G. Garcia for the Fundamentals of Equipment Maintenance Management and Mobile Hydraulic Power Systems: Operation, Maintenance, and Safety, while ACEL Chairman of the Committee on PhilConstruct, Mr. Arlan P. Vergara, welcomed the attendees of Leadership Lab Seminar.
Additionally, Past President Garcia was very excited to welcome the attendees of the Mobile Hydraulic Seminar, which was fully booked after its two-year break from ACEL TechnoForum’s seminar lineup.
After their welcoming remarks and discussions of the course outlines, the speakers for the second batch of the ACEL TechnoForum Seminars introduced activities designed to engage attendees and keep their interest throughout the learning session.
Mr. Paul Nikko Sayson from the Leadership Lab Seminar led a group activity where attendees teamed up to explore the leader-subordinate relationship. Engr. Prime Kenneth Perez gave a brief talk on the importance of understanding his topic and how everyone can apply it in their workplaces. Engr. Cyrus Evangelista and his team presented a mini-product demo and hosted a question-and-answer session, which was well received by everyone in the room.
As tradition, the learning sessions for this batch ended with a photo-op with their seminar facilitators.
The 12 attendees from the Leadership Lab Seminar are all eager to apply the skills they’ve developed, especially the qualities of strong leadership that lead to successful projects and empowered teams.
The 30 attendees from the Fundamentals of Equipment Maintenance Management Seminar were also satisfied with the knowledge and practical skills they gained about proper maintenance measures during the session.
Finally, the 42 attendees of the Mobile Hydraulic Seminar left with all positive reviews because their speaker delivered a very informative session, with product demonstrations they can apply at their own job sites.
Overall, the attendees’ response was very positive, covering the topic, speaker, and course outline, which helped them improve their skills and knowledge after participating in this year’s ACEL TechnoForum Seminars.
