CEBU CITY, PHILIPPINES, June 20, 2025 – The Association of Carriers and Equipment Lessors (ACEL), Inc. has reaffirmed its commitment to support one of its neighboring groups, the Cebu Contractors Association (CCA), which organized the PhilConstruct Visayas Bike Ride 2025.
Assembled at 5am and riding off at 6am, the 22 participants start their bike trail at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino, heading to Fuente Osmeña Circle, SM Seaside Cebu, and Cebu Ocean Park. They cross the new CCLEX (Cebu Cordova Link Expressway) and finish their trail at the Mactan Shrine, covering approximately 42 km.
Afterward, the bikers enjoy breakfast at Parola Restaurant in Roro Port Cordova, Cebu City, where the awards ceremony also takes place. Everyone who completes the ride receives an award—a medal care courtesy of Boysen Paint Philippines, one of the event sponsors. Joining Boysen Paint Philippines are Mabuhay Filcement, Inc., and ZDZ Chivalry Construction and Development Corporation.
After the awarding concludes, some riders continue biking back to the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino, totaling around 70 km for their ride.
As ACEL embraced its camaraderie spirit, some members from the Main Chapter showed support by joining this event. It was ACEL Second Vice President Mr. John F. Manalo, ACEL Corporate PRO Ms. Nicole Warren, and ACEL Past President Mr. Dio Angeles. Along with them were ACEL main chapter members Ms. Nikki Roque, Mr. Kent Mac Gable, and PCA Past President Mr. Wil Decena.
This PhilConstruct Visayas 2025 Bike Ride was made possible by Cebu Contractors Association (CCA)’s Mr. Wilbert Ching and Mr. Bernard Sia. Together with them were the CCA Secretariat, led by Ms. Gina and Ms. Cielo.
Overall, this PhilConstruct Visayas 2025 Bike Ride was well received by the event participants, as they enjoyed the fun and excitement of cycling and the scenic sights of Cebu.
