PASIG CITY, PHILIPPINES, November 09, 2025—The Association of Carriers and Equipment Lessors (ACEL), Inc., and the Philippine Constructors Association (PCA), Inc., along with the Benedicto Steel Group, hosted its second manpower development seminar, focusing on the Fundamentals of Rigging.
The seminar started with opening remarks from Mr. Clemente Rey Dorosan, Regional Sales Manager, APAC – Kito Crosby. He welcomed attendees and set the stage for discussions on rigging fundamentals, beginning with the course outline. The one-day learning session provided the foundation for the event’s rigging insights and related topics.

The Fundamentals of Rigging Seminar covered various studies on rigging and related topics. Dorosan emphasized the importance of understanding the fundamentals and principles of rigging in preparation for more advanced topics.
For safety, the seminar also highlighted the practical application and inspection of hardware and slings. As a bonus, Dorosan also shared some key strategies about rigging and its workplace uses that are not included in the course outline – making this seminar especially unique.
Lastly, ACEL Chairman of the Committee on Manpower Development and Certification, Mr. Angelo Dio Agoncillo, was also present at the event to give his closing remarks to the attendees. Agoncillo expressed gratitude for the support the association received from its members and from those non-members who participated. He also emphasizes the event’s relevance to addressing manpower development for everyone.
Overall, this second partnership seminar by ACEL and PCA this year was successful, just like the previous one, with the one-day learning session receiving positive reviews from 23 attendees for its topic, seminar facilitator, and key takeaways.
