MANILA, PHILIPPINES, November 08 – 09, 2024: The Association of Carriers and Equipment Lessors (ACEL), Inc., successfully held the four ACEL TechnoForum Seminars at the World Trade Center, Pasay City.
With different topics to choose from, the seminars for civil and mechanical engineers together with architects drew 45 attendees for the Extensive Rigging Seminar; 46 attendees for the Formworks Design, Safety, and Basic Calculation Seminar; 63 attendees for the Work Site Supervision Seminar; and 84 attendees for the Equipment Maintenance Management Seminar.
Day one explores the topic between Formworks and Rigging, where attendees can upskill from the above-mentioned topics. The former aims for the attendees to understand the basic principle of formwork and conduct basic formwork calculation, while the latter explores all the subsequent topics that cover rigging, slings, and hardware.
The first batch of the one-day learning sessions featured high-level resource speakers: RMD Kwikform Phils, Inc.’s Design Engineer, Mr. Jun Sevillo, who facilitated and discussed the Formworks Design, Safety, and Basic Calculation Seminar, while Kito Crosby’s product trainer, Mr. Clemente Rey Dorosan, facilitated the Extensive Rigging Seminar.
Moving on, the remaining two seminars explore the topic of Work Site Supervision and Equipment Maintenance Management. Under these one-day learning sessions, attendees got a chance to upgrade their knowledge and experience in terms of people handling skills for the former and learn the key considerations for effective equipment maintenance management for the latter.
On the second day of the ACEL TechnoForum Seminar, the industry’s experts for people management and equipment maintenance management are resourced to be the seminar’s facilitators. Cherry Auto’s Deputy Director, Mr. Paul Nikko Sayson, headed the Work Site Supervision Seminar, while Monark Equipment Corporation’s Assistant Manager for Machine Application and Site Performance, Mr. Efraim Kenneth Perez, mentored the Equipment Maintenance Management Seminar.
Overall, this year’s ACEL TechnoForum Seminar proved to be successful, as all of the one-day learning sessions got over 40 attendees. And to make it even more special, this marked a historic first for both ACEL and CMDF, who organized the event, as the Equipment Maintenance Management Seminar got 84 attendees.
