The Association of Carriers and Equipment Lessors (ACEL), Inc., held its annual Presidents’ Cup at the Valley Golf and Country Club, Antipolo City last Thursday, October 12, 2023, that honors the ACEL’s Past Presidents. The golf cup tournament this year also marks its return after 3 Years of Hiatus due to the pandemic.
Preceding the actual program, Mr. Rico Anzures facilitated the event as host as he welcomed the different ACEL Members, Chapters, and friends from all over the country to participate in this much-awaited sports fest.
ACEL’s Incumbent President, Mr. Jonathan R. Perez leads the Ceremonial Hit and is followed by other BOD Members and other ACEL Past Presidents who attend the event. After that, the Shot Gun was released as a sign that the game is officially open.
As the players showcase their golf prowess, these tournament has different categories for all of the players such as Fun Holes which goes into three (3) different sub-categories namely – Nearest the Pin, Most Accurate and Longest Drive; Ladies Division, Class A, B, and C together with the Guest Division which has three (3) winners slots – Champion, 1st and 2nd Runner-Up respectively, all of the winners has been announced later that night thru the General Membership Meeting (GMM) for this month.
