Cavite, Philippines, November 6, 2024 — The Association of Carriers and Equipment Lessors (ACEL), Inc.,
the Philippine Constructors Association, Inc. (PCA), and the Philippine Constructors Association,
Inc.—Metropolitan Chapter (PCAM) has united again for the PhilConstruct Manila Bike Ride 2024.
This partnership aims to provide leisure and get-togethers for all the members of the different associations.
Joining this event are ACEL Director, Mr. John Manalo, ACEL Past Presidents, Mr. Dio Angeles and Mr.
Jerry Pancho together with the PCA Metro Past Presidents, Mr. Bebert Lacuna and Mr. Ian Javier and
other ACEL, PCA, and CCA members.
The PhilConstruct Manila Bike Ride 2024 starts at the Parish of the Immaculate Conception, Naic Cavite,
a challenging climb of 6% to 14% at the Ternate Nasugbu Road, passing through Puerto Azul, Mt. Palay
Palay Entrance, Kaybiang Tunnel until the end of the trail at the Patungan Cove View Deck 2, where the
bikers enjoyed the view of the lush green scenery of nature and the cerulean ocean.
After the photo-ops, the cyclists went back on the same route until they’d reached the Mountain Brew
Restaurant, where they had their breakfast and closing ceremony at the same time.
This bike ride is a collaboration made possible by ACEL, PCA, and PCA Metro together with Wil Decena
and Associates, JE Manalo, Davies Paint, Olympic Engineering, and Boysen Paints Philippines. Also, we
would like to acknowledge the help of PCA Metro’s Past President, Mr. Jong David in setting up the bike
route, stops, and control points for our event participants.
Overall, this PhilConstruct Manila Bike Ride 2024 was well received by the event participants, as they
experienced the fun and excitement of cycling and the amusing scenery of nature from the 50 km bike
trail from Naic to Ternate Cavite.
