The Association of Carriers and Equipment Lessors (ACEL) will conduct four technical seminars at Philconstruct Manila which will be held on November 3-6, 2022 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
A project of the Philippine Contractors Association (PCA), Philconstruct is an annual expo series dedicated to the country’s construction industry. Every year, expos are held in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao that then culminate in a grand event in Metro Manila which serves as the annual meeting place for the construction industry’s movers and shakers, gathering hundreds of leading suppliers and thousands of trade buyers in one venue. As a co-sponsor of PCA, ACEL offers technical seminars, better known as technoforums, as its contribution to these events.
For next month’s Metro Manila expo, the Association will conduct a three-day seminar-workshop on “Equipment Management.” Set for November 3-5, 2022, this session will run from 9 AM to 5 PM daily and will have Rodolfo A. Menguita, a former board member and currently a part-time trainer of the Construction Manpower Development Foundation (CMDF), as the resource speaker. On November 3, ACEL is also offering a technoforum on “Managing Work-at-Heights” from 9 AM to 5 PM. This will be conducted by Arben F. Gumboc, system engineer of KStrong Asia/Pacific in partnership with Benedicto Steel Corporation. All four ACEL technoforums will be held on the second floor of the World Trade Center. The Association, in partnership with the CMDF, an implementing body of the Department of Trade and Industry’s Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines (DTI-CIAP), is currently working to have continuing professional development (CPD) points awarded to civil and mechanical engineers who will attend these technoforums.
