The Association of Carriers and Equipment Lessors (ACEL), Inc. hosted its third General Membership Meeting (GMM) for the year last August 30, 2023, at the Marquis Events Place in Taguig City. Corporate Workplace Wellness, a conversation on all facets of working life intended to foster healthy behavior among employees and enhance their health outcomes, is the central theme of this GMM.
Mr. Allen Elefano’s Plenary Talk provided the event attendees with the importance and differentiation of Workplace Wellness for each and everyone that supports positive employee health and behavior. In addition to that, Mr. Elefano discussed how to correctly identify unhealthy behaviors and potential hazards that might harm businesses as well as how to counter such threats by giving staff members health and wellness advice.
As reported by ACEL’s 2nd Vice President, Mr. Arlan P. Vergara, the GMM attendees were informed of the different updates and upcoming activities for ACEL for the rest of the year.
This includes the upcoming ACEL-TechnoForum for PhilConstruct Mindanao 2023 that will be held this coming September 7-9, 2023 at SMX Convention Center Davao. Apart from that, Mr. Vergara also thanked the whole ACEL Sponsors for making this GMM possible.
And as every GMM’s customary, different prizes were given to different winners such as Gift Certificates, Aqua Flasks, Cookwares, Toasters, Gas Stoves, and Stand Fans together with a Smart TV for the major prize category which makes the whole event room filled with excitement and fun.
And last but not the very least, this GMM will not be fun and lively without the host – as Ms. Abigail Mancilla took the floor and do the hosting stint.
In general, this GMM proved to be insightful and engaging as the attendees gave it a positive feedback
from the venue, topic, and raffle prizes making this a successful one.
