BGC Taguig, Philippines, September 25, 2024: The Association of Carriers and Equipment Lessors (ACEL), Inc., held its fourth general membership meeting at the Marquis Events Place, BGC Taguig, focusing on life longevity.
ACEL President Engr. Jonathan R. Perez opened the event with a report about ACEL’s recent achievements and project initiatives in the last quarter, such as the development of the upcoming 17th edition of the ACEL Equipment Guidebook, meetings with different network partners, and the recently concluded ACEL 19th Badminton Tournament.
Additionally, Pres. Perez also updates the attendees about the upcoming activities for the last quarter of the year, such as the PhilConstruct Manila 2024 and the 2024 Presidents’ Cup. He also thanked the ACEL’s annual sponsors for their endless support of the association’s endeavors.
Dev Pedia Partners’ Managing Director and ACEL resource speaker, Dr. Stella Manalo, presented her keynote topic, Healthy Living for Family: Impact on Parenting and Longevity. Dr. Manalo provided various infographics about the factors that affect everyone’s health and how they contribute to life’s longevity.
She also addressed the proper way of taking care of oneself, noting that everyone should practice the 5 Basic Steps to Life Longevity: (1) Be happy and avoid stress; (2) Do some exercise or workout at least 3-4 times a week; (3) Drink water as much as possible; (4) Eat balanced meals; and (5) Get the right amount of sleep every night.

ACEL did some mini-games to excite the crowd, such as “Name that Song” and “ACEL Trivia,” in which every correct answer will get some GCs as their prize.
And as every GMM’s customary, different prizes were given away to different raffle winners, such as Premium Chocolates, Powerbanks, Portable Electric Air Compressors, Multifunction Mini-Vacuum Cleaners, Snack Makers, BBQ Grillers, and a 55’’ SMART TV as the GMM’s major prize.
In general, this GMM proved to be insightful and engaging, as the attendees gave it positive feedback from the venue, topic, and raffle prizes, making it a successful one.
