The Association of Carriers and Equipment Lessors (ACEL), Inc. hosted its first General Membership Meeting (GMM) for the year last March 20, 2024, at the One Shangri-La Place, Mandaluyong City. CIAP Document 102 is the central topic of this GMM.
ACEL’s President Engr. Jonathan R. Perez took the stage for his President’s Time, in which he highlighted the upcoming activities and progress of ACEL for the year 2024. He also shared his vision for the whole association and thanked the 2024 sponsors for their unwavering support.

Dir. Doris Gacho discussed the history, purpose, and objectives of CIAP Document 102 to the attendees. It highlighted the value of CIAP Document 102 in promoting fair contractual relationships in the construction industry.
In addition to this, Dir. Gacho expanded her presentation by accepting questions in the Q&A session where audience members emphatically asked questions coming from experience in relation to contract management. Dir Gacho provided thorough and well-explained answers to questions raised.
This GMM also marked the induction of ACEL’s newest Regular Member, Wilan Merchandising Phils, Inc. present to this is their company’s representative, Mr. Mico Valle, together with him are ACEL’s BOD Member and ACEL’s Chairman on Committee on Membership, Mr. Arlan P. Vergara and ACEL’s first Vice President, Mr. Francis Cruz, who serves as the inducting officers.
And as in every GMM’s customary, different prizes were given to different winners such as F&B Gift Packs, Top-tier Pillows, Aqua Flasks, Cookwares, Portable Facial Massagers, BMI Measurement, and Air Fryer together with a 55’’ Smart TV for the major prize category which makes the whole event room filled with excitement and fun.
