The Association of Carriers and Equipment Lessors (ACEL) ended 2022 with a Christmas party that was held at the Eastwood Richmonde Hotel on December 7.
The joyous event, which attracted 84 attendees, also served as the occasion for the induction of the members of the Association’s 2023 board of directors.
Inducted were: Jonathan Perez of JAP Construction and Development Corporation, Abigail Mancilla of First Philippine Skills and Equipment Testing Corporation, Arlan Vergara of RMD KwikformsPhils. Inc., Nicole Warren of Pacific Orient Winds Corporation, Cristina De Vera of Tri-Globe Transport Services and Trading Inc., SixtoBenedicto of Benedicto Steel Corporation, Daniel Dagdag of HdMegatrucks and Equipment Inc., Juan Lorenzo Luis Banson of Higantis Corporation, Carlo Fruto of JVF Commercial and Project Development Support Services, Luis Litam Jr. of Civic Merchandising Inc., and Francis Cruz of Frey-Fil Corporation.
Ronaldo R. Elepaño, past ACEL president and incoming president of the Philippine Constructors Association (PCA) for 2023 served as the inducting officer.
After the induction ceremonies, incoming ACEL president Perez delivered his inaugural speech. This was followed by the induction of a new Association member: Excelucent Equipment Corporation. C. M. Pancho Construction Inc. then gave a product presentation.
But the gathering was not all business. With the theme “IskulBukol,” the Christmas party was also a time for celebration, merrymaking and camaraderie. Two games — “Monogram” and “The Price is Right” — proved to be big hits among the attendees. And adding to the fun were the usual raffle draws where prizes such as a 65-inch Samsung Smart Crystal UHD television set, a 43-inch Samsung Smart UHD television set, a Naipo neck and full-back massage cushion, a Naipo rechargeable and wearable shoulder massager and a Naipo shiatsu foot massager were won by lucky party-goers. There was also a band that provided live music. Being ACEL’s last activity for the year, the party was also the perfect time to thank the Association’s 2022 sponsors. These were Olympic Engineering and Sales Corporation, Trelleborg Marine and Infrastructure, JAP Construction and Development Corporation, Civic Merchandising Inc., Inframachineries Corporation, Faequip Corporation, C. M. Pancho Construction Inc., Highland Tractors Parts Inc., Monark Equipment Corporation, Megawide Construction Corporation, and Equiprime Optimum Solutions Inc
